The Steelers won their first game last night against the New York Giants

I took the day off due to a family function, so I am doing alright!

I'm having the 3-4 days of melancholy that I experience every August remembering past loved ones, missing my dad and reminiscing. I snap out of it the 16th.

Carek I know how you feel Carek. On August the 30th it will be 14 teen years that my mother passed away.Looks like August is a bad time for both of us.

Have a wonderful day touring the Amish country. It is about 35 miles from where I live. A lovely sunny day. Toured the different shops, and picked up some things for fall decorations. I got behind a buggy, and had to go real slow, once I past it, and there was a older girl with her sister in it.

Ok except for the high pitched whining noise I've been hearing off and on all day! It's driving me mad!

Still not feeling so well in my tummy. It's been like this most of the week. I want back to work today & had a really good chat with my boss

I got to see the partial eclipse today , due to my neighbors who work for Nasa!! It was so awesome !!

Ok but I'm obviously retaining fluid as my legs are a bit tight & swollen and my left leg is "weeping" which is the weirdest trickle of clear fluid leaking out a small nick in my leg.

Better today, swelling in my legs is gone
