See, now the problem with NHL 2002 is that it's so unrealistic, you just don't get dragged into the game. I mean, come on - you can't pass off the boards? What the crap is that? I had NHL 2002, and it became so boring that I just blew it off completely. Never learned all the game's nuances. When I got NHL 2004, I was blown away! It's incredibly realistic (apart from all the big hits)... You feel like you're watching a real hockey game! Plus, you can take on the role of your favourite team's GM and improve the club with draft picks, facility upgrades, etc. for twenty years!
I highly recommend it! It's easy to learn, and there are oodles of ways to score, in comparison to NHL 2002.
