good ol' Telnet and Gopher.


I still remember being shocked when I saw ads on tv back in the mid-90's that had a tiny little "www.xyz.com" at the bottom in small print. I was amazed that they were mentioning an internet site on tv.

yes telnet. and bbs.isca.uiowa exposed me to life on the net.

My first use of the internet was when I was in Grade 5. First website I ever went to was TSN.ca.

So, 10 years.

I'm about the same timeframe. I too went to University and have worked at a different one since.
