i get mistaken for a 16 year old sometimes...when i go to see R-rated movies, i've been asked for ID. this happened when i saw fahrenheit 9/11 (the first time...the second time, which was at a different theater in a different state, they figured out i'm over 17 )

i still can't believe i made it to 20. a week before my 20th birthday, i was thinking 'holy shit, i'm old!'...and then i got thrown out of a show for being underage and drinking...nice wake-up call. (wasn't my fault, the singer was giving out beera, the bouncers let us back in after they sorted that out).

and I still sometimes get id'd when going to pubs and stuff

(oh, and the drinking age is 18 here, and it's not that common to get asked for ID like it is in the states....bar staff will only ask you if you look blatantly under 18)



In fact, I've been asked for ID by a few bouncers, and I've just turned round to them and said 'love, I think you'll find I was about 8 when you were BORN!!'

Oh, and just before I gave up smoking in the new year, I got asked for ID buying cigarettes (for which the legal age is 16!!!)

I suppose this explains why I only ever attract boys aged about 17
