And yet my roommate still insists on having the heater up on 30.

The weather has certainly gone a bit loopy in Newfoundland. I think we've only really had two or three days of true snowfall, if that. All this rain is horrible. It feels like autumn. Or spring.

After a string of unseasonably mild weather, it's VERY cold.

-7C, with a windchill of -13C.

But it's supposed to warm up to above freezing again tomorrow, and stay that way for the rest of the week.

I feel your pain.

The world has gone crazy, weather-wise. Not too long ago it was near 50 C in much of Australia. It feels like spring in Newfoundland in the middle of January (we should be in the double negatives.) And need I mention the hurricanes?

We've been having an unusually mild winter here up until now with temps between -10 C - + 2 C. But today it was - 25 C with a northerly wind making it feel even colder during the day, but it's already getting 'warmer' with the temp. at -20 C.

There should be a rule that it can't be above 35 degrees in winter. None of this January thaw crap. I've completely lost my marbles because I've gotten to the point where I'm yelling at the weather guy when he throws up the 5 day forecast showing nothing but mild temps. Maybe I'm jsut bitter than I've got a $400 season ski pass and $1400 worth of gear I'm not using right now.

Mother Nature needs a swift kick in the ass from Old Man Winter.
