duh, cameron. people suck. cameron needs to go away, and unlike last season she needs to actually stay away. i like how the patient thing (her knowing, still giving up the liver, but doing it as a guilt trip rather than because she's Saint Cameron) was more complicated than black/white-good/bad person.

and foreman's "we're not friends" at the end

the OPA!?! chase, you can't use an OPA to keep patient's airway open if she's conscious. gag reflex! okay, the mental status of this patient was kind of debatable with her randomly falling asleep, but she was awake then. yikes.

they were there for about 3 seconds at a time, so it was really like 6 seconds of clinic patients. but they were excessively annoying, so the less, the better.

I have just started watching Jeeves and Wooster, at my rate I should catch House sometime around 2017

i just watched part of a second episode, and kim, i dont get it. is every episode the same? seems so formulaic. i know we went over this before but i dont get the appeal. house himself is very 2 dimensional. the storyline (while i base this on only 2 episodes) was painfully repetitive, and it has the annoying glossy set which i despise in shows like this or csi, etc.

so firstly house himself. ok, i get he is supposed to be dry and deadpan and jam packed with sardonic witty goodness. i get that. but for fucks sake. no one or no character can only be that. he has very little dimension.

the storyline. ugh. we cant even call it a storyline, surely. the same thing every episode? they sit around like sloths having a lazy sunday and toss out glib one liners among discussing in more depth than any medical team on this entire planet ever would, how to save someone who either doesn't want to live/die, or who is proving to be yet another impossible diagnostic challenge that the ever-reliable arsehole house pretends to hate (but wants to give you the impression that one day he might start to crack and become a real human - but i digress)? and the diagnosis's themselves. bloody hell. who writes this crap? someone needs to break his other leg with that stupid white board.

and the set. the last straw. why oh why is it so dim? why oh why is it set up more like a swanky law firm than a hospital? it is a hospital, right? the floor length glass doors confused me. the lack of paraphernalia a reminder that there's not much of substance happening. the lights turned down unlike in a real setting where the fluoroescent lights can cause retinal damage. no, it's best to be dramatic and chic like in csi (where they conduct forensic science in lighting akin to parafin lit old london or something).

which one did you see? i want to know if i have to get annoyed that you dissed my favorite episode for having lack of plot or something. you may have just seen two not really great ones.

that lack of lighting in csi is kind of ridiculous. as are the glass walls in house. but if it was totally realistic, it would be rather boring.

Death row guy was pretty cool. That and 'Autopsy' are good from season 2. Didn't like DNR but 'Paternity' and 'Detox' were great from Season 1.
