You don't even get the sports channels as part of the basic package anymore, I'm not sure about Foxtel, but Austar definitely don't have that old package.

So its more like around $60 for sports channels now. Until I get a massive pay rise, I'll have to put up with this shitty Free To Air sports channels.

Wow, really? I thought Fox Sports 1 at least was still in the basic package. It's hyper-commercialised insanity. I hear rugby's now been relegated to Fox Sports 3, meaning you need to fork out shitloads.

What I think Foxtel don't realise is that they're losing customers this way. They could be getting $10-12 out of me per month. They could've been getting that for 2.5 years now. Instead, due to poor business models, they're gotten absolutely zilch and will continue to get absolutely zilch.

Well I assume Foxtel and Austar are virtually the same, maybe they just have diffrent titles for their packages.

The Sports Package Includes: Fox Sports 1,2 & 3....Then I believe if you want ESPN (which I would, just for the NBA....maybe some Champions League).....its part of an extra package with The Comedy Channel ect ect...)...I mean C'mon, its a fucking sports channel too!

I check WTAHNN probably only a couple of times a day at the moment. So much of it is speculative and baseless, or sheer ridiculousness like people making sweeping assumptions just based on a song title.
