I'm afraid it is made with raw eggs, but it is kept refrigerated and served cold. And it's got milk and spices. It kind of tastes like melted French Vanilla ice cream, with a little spice.

Thanks for the eggnog links Sue DeNym. There is a cooked recipe too on one of the sites. I think that would be more palatable.
