Right now, though, Punjab need to score over two runs a ball to win!
I love those comparisons because they almost always shut commentators up - they carry on like making x score is impossible for the chasing team, and then they flash up that comparison and the chasing team is ahead.

I don't think Yuvraj is listening! Fuck, what a six.

This tournament is already amazing. Fuck the purists who can't hack Twenty20.

And oh God, here comes the "Are you BORED? Do you want to meet some GIRLS?" ad. At the end, some bikini-clad girl clutching a beer climbs into a hot tub with this guy.

"And as for Bono, he needs a colostomy bag for his mouth."

Hah, yeah. Though what was even more interesting was they re-ran the comparison at 11.5 overs.

- Chennai: 3/125
- Punjab: 2/126

This was at about the point where Chennai really kicked on. Punjab desperately need to, and Yuvraj sure as hell is trying.

I still have a problem with it, but that can easily be fixed by double headers.

I'd love to meet a person who gets conned by those ads.

Yeah, I'm not in a hurry to argue it's better than ODIs or Tests, but what a huge amount of good fun. I'm loving this game.

And for TV viewers, it is a double-header tonight.

(Not that I think I'll stay up for all of the second game ...)

This is what gets me. There are MULTIPLE different agencies doing this, so clearly there's enough people getting conned to sustain a competitive market. Australia must have plenty of desperate guys watching late night TV.

My only real criticism is that it's over just as you're getting into it. But yeah.

How's this for a place name speaking the truth?

Hell For Certain, Kentucky: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hell_Fo...in%2C_Kentucky

Wonder what DOL thinks?

Yeah, exactly. Hopefully having this as a tournament with multiple games a weekend will solve that issue, rather than just a couple of random internationals prior to an ODI series.

Desperate and stupid.

I mean, good god. How can someone be fooled by these, or even need these with the amount of internet porn around now.

You have to wonder how some of these places get their names.

Well, if I were naming a place in Kentucky, let's just say Hell For Certain would be very seriously considered!
