Ahhh, and now The Fly. Could've been so much better a song with better mixing.

Oh, and folks, Ian and I have already found the location for our next thread.

As the very appropriate location to follow the Hole of Horcum, we found this gem:

Cumbum, Tamil Nadu

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cumbum,_Tamil_Nadu

t is a beautiful valley with plush green agricultural fields, cultivated mostly of paddy, coconut, vineyards and other year long rotational crops.

AWESOME

That's too bad. I couldn't vote as I hadn't finished Phanan's list.

 You still have an hour, and hope by some miracle I get one more vote out of thin air to keep it within three.

i could vote for you but i haven't listened to any of them so i'd feel dirty

So, it didn't snow any more last night. But none of it melted. We are supposed to get a ton more today, though.

But the flow is there. Shitty production on The Fly to shitty production on Only Shallow.

The treble is all kinda washy and unclear.

Pretty safe to say that if MBV do ever release the mythical next album, though, it'll be the best produced album in history given how obsessive and perfectionist Shields has been about his music post-Loveless.

Afternoon, guys.

Never saw Axver's final thoughts on my list, but I can infer.

D? C-? F--?

You don't have to be beautiful to rule my world, Ax.

Mine got a C+

Axver must have gotten some action earlier to put him in such a good mood.

It'll come out the same day as Chinese Democracy.

So, done with LMP's list.

The first fifteen or so tracks are made of various kinds of epic phail for the most part. Probably the lowest moment is that terrible Prince track. The Backstreet Boys song Irishteen/Lemonchick used is a fucking work of art in comparison.

But for the most part, LMP's got really got flow going, and the songs make sense together. There were some passages that I enjoyed to varying degrees. The EITS and Pink Floyd songs, of course, were awesome.

But there were far too many dips in quality and bullshit music. D+.

No, I haven't spoken to anybody today. Haven't even left the house. For the first time in a couple of weeks, all I've done is sat at home and had a nice, quiet, lazy day listening to music. It's been wonderful.

OK guys, it's 3:15am here. I better get some sleep.

Have a good one!
