just to keep everyone updated, the Devils are now 13-3-1 over the last 17, with a win over Washington in the final game, they can move ahead of either Ottawa or the NY Islanders in points if either team loses their final game of the regular season
I'm still not sure though if the Devils are better off playing Carolina, or a team like Philly or Toronto in the 1st round
either way, the playoffs should be fun this year, I'm not expecting the Devils to win the Cup, I got used to the notion by mid-season that this team wasn't going to be able to get it done this year, I still don't expect them to win or even get to the Finals, but I know now they have as good a chance as anyone if things fall into place just so
