3rd straight day of rain, but still have mild temps. It could be worse, in having snow instead of rain.

for the third morning in a row, it is in the 30's. some of the new plants have bit the dust and everything is covered in frost. we are worried that we have to replace about 10 plants already. it is not supposed to be like this in so cal.

yet *another* snow day here! I'm glad we don't have to get the kids to school or trust them to the buses, but after 2 snow days last week, then the 3 day weekend, I'm more than ready for them to go back to school, lol!

The weather in Western NY has just been terrible this winter. I dont mind the warmer temps but the rain has been non-stop. Yesterday it all froze so now we have a different kind of mess on our hands!

Winter weather has finally arrived here, It only got up t0 32 degrees,and had some snow showers. Yesterday it was almost up to 60 degrees!

This week and last week have been hellish, weather wise. -11F was the high last week, and this week, temperatures aren't getting above -4F.

The sun was shining, but still was cold with a high of 32 degrees. At least it melted the one inch of snow that we got overnight

No gales as predicted - in fact it's been quite nice here today apart from the fact that there was a light covering of snow this morning! The gales seemed to have happened further south, although we have had our share of them i think

It's scary out, a tree's been blown completely over just outside my college - all the trains were delayed because of trees on the tracks. Apparently it'll all be over by tomorrow though :hopeful:
