Friday night at midnight in Baker, CA it was 106!!! This morning coming home through Baker at 1 pm it was 117!!! Not much difference if you ask me.

Finally glad to be home where it is a chilly 85!

OMG we had a tropical rainstorm early this morning! Overcast skies and it is so MUGGY right now! It was 80 degrees in my house at midnight last night!

I've heard all about your weather Miri, been talking to my mom in Sunnyvale and cousin in Union City. My sister in Portland says it was 103 degrees there today. It was only 82 at the beach in SD today. Hope we get a cooling trend. I need some decent sleep!

Probably 8:30 when the bait and tackle shop opens.

I go to OB at least once a week. I can get from home to the bottom of Newport in 10 minutes. I do most of my food shopping at Peoples Market. Always a good excuse to hit the beach or the cliffs.
