Help with two V-Day CDs

What are your suggestions for a love songy CD, not anything TOO cheesy, (I already have plenty of those in mind). And another one for, *cough* other things.

Celine Dion - 'My Heart Will Go On'

That song isnt cheesy at all.

I hate myself for even saying that, forgive me.

First cd that comes to mind is David Usher - Little Songs. Or as the liner notes say "Little Songs To Fuck To"

Yes, be sure to specify to which disc you think each song should go.

Green Eyes is one I'd thought of. She has sort of sea green eyes, they shift from green to blue.

That's awesome, a great song for great eyes. I think that song is almost a clincher.

Lamb - 'Gorecki'
VNV Nation - 'Beloved'

2 of the most beautiful songs I can think of, perfect for Valentines. If you can't get or find these, let me know.

I really like this song, but not quite what I'm looking for. Thanks though.

most of the love songs i prefer are angst filled, tortured love songs like the cure...

pretty love songs:

julee cruise-- 'until the end of the world'

cowboy junkies--'sweet jane'

i second lamb's 'gorecki'--beautiful beautiful song

songs for other recreational activities

nickodemus--'cleopatra in new york' (if you're into that middle eastern, belly dancer vibe)

depeche mode--'world in my eyes' (you may laugh, but i find that song is totally hot)

dual purpose:

norah jones--'i've got to see you again', 'turn me on'

astrud gilberto--'girl from ipanema'

diana krall--'how deep is the ocean'

ella fitzgerald--'fever'

...you get the idea.
