Help with two V-Day CDs

The friendliest place on the web for anyone that follows U2.
If you have answers, please help by responding to the unanswered posts.
I made two such CDs last year for Valentine's Day. I think the tracklistings are in the mix thread.

Never Tear Us Apart - INXS

by my side is a good one, too.

for the sexy cd, how about not enough time by inxs.

not enough time
for all that i want for you
not enough time
for every kiss and every touch
and all the nights
i wanna be inside you...

for the LOVE CD

KISS - Everytime I Look At You (amazing song, she'll melt)
KISS - Forever
Queen - Love Of My Life

for the naughty CD...

U2 - Until The End Of The World
U2 - Your Blue Room
Queen - Get Down Make Love (let's get to the point quickly)

Also, on the slightly cheesier side, I was thinking about Billy Joel's "Just the Way You Are," too.

If you want to modernize it a bit, Diana Krall covers this song and she does an excellent job. Very sultry. If you don't have it, I can post it.

I also like that Israel K ukulele cover of Somewhere Over the Rainbow/What a Wonderful World that's been featured in a number of movies lately (one being 50 First Dates). It's a good way to end the CD, imo.

You are so beautiful from Joe Cocker
Woman from John Lennon
The long and winding road - Paul McCartney
At my most beautiful - REM
All I want is you
Wild honey

As for "other" CD, Even better than the real thing..?

"Love":

Talk Talk - Eden
My Morning Jacket - At Dawn
Nick Drake - Pink Moon
Sarah McLachlan - Possession
Slowdive - Alison
Poe - Hello
Howie Day - Ghost

All very good songs.

"Sex":

If your girlfriend has a good sense of humor...

Peaches - Fuck the Pain Away

That one makes me laugh. :sexywink:

OH MY GOD I just had a HORRIBLE idea for the last track on the :sexywink: CD. Has anybody heard Liz Phair's last album? Yes, I realize there are MANY Liz Phair songs with overwhelming sexuality, but this one in particular would just be WRONG. But kinda funny. Anyone who's heard the album probably knows exactly which track I'm thinking of. Heh.

I'll check it out, yertle.

"This is Love" - PJ Harvey

and for that little touch of spilling your guts past the point of no return:

"Lovesong" - the Cure

Anything off of Lovage's Music To Make Love To Your Old Lady By, such as Strangers on a Train or Stroker Ace.

Already put on the Elton, Beach Boys and Ben Folds songs. I WOULD do the DMB song, I thought of it last night, but I left Under the Table and Dreaming at home and will probably use Crash Into Me instead.

As for The Clash, Cure, and Weezer - All TREMENDOUS songs, especially "The Good Life," but not what I'm going for. THanks though
