contestants pick categories and dollar amounts and are presented with a question, which is actually an answer, because they need to answer in the form of a question.

for example:

alex-he is often credited as being the coolest cat in interference
contestant 1-who is diamond?
alex-no. anyone else?
contestant 2-who is salome?
alex-yes.

I used to be addicted to Jeopardy (as I have a ton of useless trivia crap floating around in my head) and I thought he was smart, then I decided he just acts like he knows this stuff, I mean the answers are on cards right in front of him. So I stopped watching about 5 years ago.

Plus he is Canadian!
