Life's too short to drink cheap wine!
Jason White - OK
Adrian Peterson - OK
Matt Leinart - USC
Reggie Bush - USC
Alex Smith - Utah
Cedric Benson - Texas

who else?????????????

I'm stringing it out and hoping Leinart gets it but that UCLA game may have shot him in the foot...Reggie Bush,,,needs a couple more games like last week...next year might be the time for him!

Unfortunately there's no way Alex Smith gets consideration due to his playing in a non BCS league which is crap...compare his numbers to the other 2 QB's:
White: 33 pass TD, 6 int, 0 rush TD
Leinart: 28 pass TD, 6 int, 3 rush TD
Smith: 28 pass TD, 4 int, 10 rush TD
All 3 led undefeated teams.

I think I'd have to give it to Peterson, with Smith second and Benson 3rd if I had a vote

Gino Torretta
Category: Heisman Trophy Winners

In brief A 6-foot 3-inch, 205-pound senior, Gino Torretta was the key man in the extraordinary success of his team. The one attribute shared by all great quarterbacks is that they find a way to lead their team to victory week after week
