I want to be enveloped by the music so that I cannnot hear anything else. When I'm listening to it, I could be carried off into oblivion and that would be just fine. Everything is right, and everything is wrong, with the world when I hear it.
It is definitely one of the most tragically beautiful songs. Its something I never thought mankind could create. Radiohead creates a world you want to be in, destroy and pity at the same time. When I started working full time about a year and a half ago during a very snowy and gray January I made the mistake of listening to Kid A on the busride to work and this song devestated me everytime. It made the first two months of my economic slavery hell but I'm better because of it. Excellent choice as best song.

Thanks.

I'm glad some of you took the time to read all of that. Even mofo, who says he already knew all the answers. It was fun.

IWB, I listened to AFI today too, including 'Days of the Phoenix' twice, before seeing your post in this thread. Coincidence?

Cu7o, I have not heard the new album. I hope this doesn't adversely affect my Z squared status.
