HBO's In Treatment

Has anybody been watching this? I've been recording the series but hadn't watched it until the last couple of nights when I caught up with week one. I got hooked immediately. The wonderful Gabriel Byrne plays a psychotherapist and the 30 minute episodes feature a different session each night. I am surprised by how well-written it is--not too melodramatic, just smart and real, with interesting patients: a cocky soldier who flew a mission over Baghdad and dropped a bomb on a school, a young gymnast who was in a biking accident, a couple debating an abortion after years of trying to get pregnant, a woman who has fallen in love with the therapist. I'm sucked in. I was getting desperate for a new TV show, too. So, I recommend it.

I have been wondering about it. I watched one the other night with Blair Underwood. I may have to catch up with them On Demand.
