I saw an ad in the newspaper at my mother's house for this show. It is on at a good venue about 2 hours drive from where I live. I am very tempted because I absolutely adore Queen. But I would really hate to see a show that was sub-standard and didn't do the songs justice.
It says in the ad " Direct from the UK, featuring Craig Pesco as Freddie Mercury - The most sensational Queen tribute ever staged"
Now that is a BIG claim.
It is on next week and the tickets are $50. It is a shame it is on so close to the Splendour concert...but it is. I am a bit extra fired up about this because The Electric Six did quite a good cover of Radio Gaga on Saturday night except the singer couldn't hit Freddie's high notes so he dropped it down an octave.
So I am wondering has anyone from the UK seen this show and does Craig Pesco really capture the magic?
