Has anyone heard any of the Wyrd Sisters songs from the new Harry Potter Soundtrack? It features Johnny Greenwood on guitar, Phil on drums and the lead singer from Pulp. They have three songs, two of which are being played at HarryPotterSoundtrack.com. They are streaming those two songs in conjunction with two score pieces. I heard that AOL was playing the entire soundtrack before but it may have been pulled. Not sure, I hate AOL and will not go there to check.

Anyway, the songs are pretty cool. The lyrics are inane (one of the songs is called "Do the Hippogriff"), but the music is great fun and Johnny kicks serious ass on the guitar. Check it out.

the songs are kind of... meh. and as much as i loved pulp back in the day, it's just not radiohead-ish enough without thom.

that said, jonny's guitarwork on 'do the hippogriff' is excellent.

don't say i never do anything for you.

Thanks! Had not heard "Magic Works". Where is "This is the Night"? That seems to be the most readily available of the three.

Edit - "Magic Works" is kind of :barf:. Sounds like a horrible prom song. I still like the other two, in a guilty pleasure kind of way.
