Big Grin Happy July - SHOW me where you live

So many countries / people will be celebrating in July I figured we could show off the places we live at. This way if I never visit Iceland (AM!) I can at least see it from someone who lives there!

I live in Mass- where we have SO much, Cape Cod, Boston, Walden Pond, mountains in the west, Martha's Vineyard...

in the fall

the winter

of course Boston:

o olive, i really like this idea!

i live in st. paul...

this is the cathedral. the top isn't green anymore, it's actually copper.

this is paul bunyan...fabled to have made all the lakes with his feet. this one is in brainerd and your parents tell the people that work there your name then he says "hello there shannon!" and it scares you.

this is duluth. it's rather hilly and cold. it's up north on lake superior. (ok, people, feel free to mock me for saying up north)

this is the science museum. it's quality.

this is the snoopy from the capitol. after charles schultz died, we started putting charlie browns, snoopys, and this year lucys around town. it's fun.

Happy July!
I'm checking in from California, land of rivers, mountains, beaches, deserts and Spanish influence.

And this is our little city, Fulletron:

I currently live in Maryland. Try to hold back the excitement as I post these beautiful images.

The penguins at my Metro station (this is the best part!):

Look at them buying their tickets :

The giant acorn thingy that supposedly talks to you and tells you the story of the mica spring if you stand under it at midnight (that's what jkayet told me when I moved to Silver Spring):

I work in Washington, DC:

A really scary picture of an empty metro car:

(post, you damn penguins! )
