With the pump of a finger, the View-Master has given generations a 3-D look at everything from man's first moonwalk to the adventures of SpongeBob SquarePants.

The iconic toy occupies a place in the National Toy Hall of Fame, alongside Barbie and Mr. Potato Head, and has inspired many a Web site. This year, it achieves another mark of success, its 65th anniversary.

Yes, we got some for our kids at Christmas a couple of years ago. They are relatively inexpensive and have a variety of subjects for viewing.

Ah yes-one I remember getting for Christmas!1 Then being all freaked out with the '10 Pleges of Egypt" one my parents got for me to view! Whew-nothing like frogs all over the place-3d like in your face! ha/LOl! but still, Happy Birthday to View Master!
