I went and saw Randy Travis about a century ago. The Judds opened for him. It was a good show.

Why can't country music produce anyone like Willie Nelson or Johnny Cash nowadays?

One of my college roommates loved country music. She played Randy Travis all the time. Sawyer Brown too. I guess it could have been worse. I still used my headphones a lot to escape, though.

One of my girlfriends in college dragged me to see Sawyer Brown. Ugh! All I remember about Randy Travis is the song Digging Up Bones. Damn, I guess I just shot any musical cred I might have had left with this post.

I don't like his voice, his phrasing or his songwriting.

I know this makes me something of a loser, but I'm comfortable with that.
