It works, then it doesn't around the first verse, then the song kicks on and it stops mattering. And the song itself ... average. By which I mean "not bad" in the neutral rather than good sense.

This LCD Soundsystem song is starting badly.

Moonage Daydream's not a bad song. I think Station To Station and Low are much superior to Ziggy Stardust, but this is probably one of the best songs on Ziggy Stardust.
