Gwen Stefani - 4 In The Morning

In the grand scheme of pop music, '4 In The Morning' is nothing special.

However, after 'Bannanas' and 'Wind It Up' - I really started to think she had lost it - '4 In The Morning' gives me a glimmer of hope. It's got a melody, and it is fairly catchy, which is more than I can say for the previously mentioned two songs.

Anyway, probably her best song since 'Don't Speak', imo.

I think her vocals have actually improved on her two solo albums.
Makes me wonder what she can do with some more mature (for lack of a better term) material.

I have to admit, it's hard for me to be objective about her music.
I find the pop fluff similar to hers detestable but I am so madly in love with her hotness, it clouds my judgement. Verdict: as long as she wears those outfits, she gets a free pass.

But yeah, Wind It Up is completely assinine. She's phoning it in.

Sweet Escape is a gem of a song.

Alas, 4 In the Morning does nothing for me.

Gwen is really hit or miss with me, including stuff from No Doubt.

There's nothing "right" about Hollaback Girl. It's crap.

LAMB is a good record though, and Sweet Escape has its moments, including 4 In The Morning.

I'd rather chew on aluminium foil than listen to Hollaback Girl or anything from that era, but 4 In The Morning and Sweet Escape are catchy tunes.

Anyway, probably her best song since 'Don't Speak', imo.

If I recall correctly, 4 In The Morning was co-written by the No Doubt bass player, so it may not be a coincidence.

Early Winter is by far my favorite song from her latest Album...which I haven't really given too many spins mainly because its not exactly my kinda thing....But Yeah...Early Winter...I really really like!

If this is the song I just saw today I approve because the film clip is hot as
