Griffin House?

I noticed an ad in the new Mojo magazine for an artist called Griffin House. It says his songs have "moments reminiscent of Ryan Adams and even a bit of U2 in the mix."
I found this link to two of his mp3s. I am not so sure about the Ryan Adams and U2 connection in the music--but I do like the songs.
Anyone know anything about this guy??

not that this helps you with your lack of speakers, but here's a ysi link to the mp3s.

listening to him, i guess the u2 reference is to the sort of americana vibe of rattle and hum. that acoustic guitar and achey vocal is where the ryan adams influence is as well, i guess.
