Google download question

I just went to Google for a search. You can download a Google bar onto your computer. I'm not sure if I should do this. Will it screw up my IE address bar? It's important for me to have this as I use it for cutting and pasting all the time. Thanks in advance for any help.

The Google bar sits just below the address bar in IE, so I think it would be fine.

OK, I'll download it. I do not like MSN's search engine.

I think the Google toolbar is really good (useful for searching, blocks pop-ups, and has options like highlighting search terms). I used to have it before I switched to Mozilla, but my husband has it on his computer, and it works really well.

Now I can't figure out how to cut and paste the sites. Is that possible?
