Yesterday I opened Miss Kitty's tin of ashes for the first time to see what they looked like. Then I red the card that was attached to them and it said, 'Herein lie the ashes of the beloved Miss Kitty, May 12, 1998.' It was the 4-year anniversay of her death and I had absolutely no idea when I decided to peek in the tin! Brought a tear to my eye.

I know the hell you must be in.
Its a long tragic story, and i cant even tell you here as i have too many enemies who would flame me, but my beloved "children" were stolen from me by the pound 8 months ago. They could be dead now, or in new homes, i just dont know. And i've had beloved pets that have died too.
Its hell, and even some animal lovers dont understand!

jez, i don't know you, but i do know how you feel. a few years back we had to put my dog to sleep because she had cancer. it's tough to get through, but just remember that your life was better for having your dog in it.
