any of you know of any?

im not seriously into it, but i was wondering if you knew where i could download a program works well with a variety of features and options.

ive been having fun recording guitar parts and turning them upside down so to speak, but id like a better program for mixing/wrecking them.

any help would be appreciated.

Well, if you're running Windows 98 / ME, download "Pro Tools FREE" from http://www.digidesign.com/ . You get eight tracks to work with, and you don't need their expensive hardware. Sadly, it doesn't work with the Windows NT family (2000, XP).

Also get FruityLoops, Acid Pro, and Sound Forge, but those will cost you.

i really like acid pro and sound forge as you can use them together, and they are pretty easy to use and they work well.

i downloaded them off of kazaa lite for free, so if you are the stealing type that may be the way to go
