I'm actually kind of disappointed in the nominations (mostly television, as I've been super busy with finals and such and haven't gotten to see many movies lately). Nothing for Arrested Development, no Comedy nomination for The Office, NOTHING whatsoever for the last season of Six Feet Under!!!

I am thrilled for Felicity Huffman grabbing two nominations for Desperate Housewives and Transamerica. Oh, and Philip Seymoure Hoffman! Go, Phil!

Yeah, I meant Best Comedy Series...I did see that Carrell was nominated. The series snub for them and total shut outs for Arrested Development and Six Feet Under irked me.

I care, actually, because most of those movies haven't been released where I am so it's a good way of saying 'ok, this may be worth seeing'.

I love to see My Name is Earl get some recognition. That's good stuff!!! (but what about Will & Grace?)....and Lost is my absolute favorite...
unfortunately, i haven't been my usual movie-going self this year for some reason, so i can't really say anything about them. when i'm done with my finals, i hope to do some catching up--and seeing how many of the nominations are from movies out right now.........
