Ugh.

What a terrible set.

A band with so many great songs, playing such a poor set.

Shame really. A damn shame.

I don't know if MrBrau1 was actually joking or not, but I kind of agree. Having seen many of the other setlists that Radiohead have been playing, I have to say that this last one posted was pretty unspectacular. It just doesn't seem to flow or pack the same punch that the other setlists did, but to each his own, I guess.

I just hope they don't play this setlist when I go see them on the 30th. I hope it's one of the other ones.

With the exception of The Gloaming as an opener, this show seems very interesting. The inclusion of Let Down makes the show itself. Also Fake Plastic trees and Karma Police are there.

This show looks to have a huge amount of new material.. and that is a good thing!

But... everyone has their favorites :)

what a great setlist:drool:

the setlists have probably been their best ever. they certainly have had more variety than ever.

if a city has two shows, they can pretty much counting on hearing at least half different songs for show #2.

their new material blows me away. arpeggi might be one of their very best songs ever.

This thread always makes me so sad

I couldn't carve out the time to see them on this tour...I'm practically a solar system away. I saw a music special on them yesterday that just made things worse--great quotes from Thom, etc.

Envy envy envy envy...:sigh:

Where I End And You Begin best song on HTTT:drool:

This may sound dumb but, here goes. I've seen Radiohead twice: once on "The Bends" tour and once on "OK Computer" tour. I LOVE their lights at their concerts. I think Radiohead and The Cure have some of the best lighting at their concerts.

However, I read somewhere that since these Radiohead shows are supposed to be intimate and used to work out the new songs, that the concert production, including the lighting, was going to be scaled down.

Can anyone who has been to one of the shows on this new tour comment on the lighting? Was the lighting basic? Or did the light show kick ass with the usual pizzaz?

well the lighting was nothing spectacular, but it did go well with the songs.
I think with Radiohead its always more about the music than it is about lighting or stage design.

Yeah I agree. Alright, reporting from the Theater at MSG...

Good show! Opening band The Black Keys was really good. Radiohead came on stage at 9 PM sharp and opened with The Gloaming. Played stuff from pretty much all the albums except Pablo Honey of course. Paranoid Android was a definite standout as it was expected. Tight, rockin' renditions of My Iron Lung and Just... Thom on the piano... OMG, 2 of my fav songs Pyramid Song and Like Spinning Plates.. beautiful! Everything's In It's Right Place, Kid A, National Anthem, Idioteque, I Might Be Wrong... Wolf At The Door was one of the encores. See, I like that song but don't really think it stands out live. No Surprises and Big Ideas (Nude?) were pretty. And finally they ended it with The Tourist, best song hands down to end with!

I don't like Amnesiac much, but do they still play Life in a Glass House sometimes?

I really dig that song

I think they only played it once...... its hard to do it live because well you know:wink:

I wish they would do the version thats on Meeting people is easy

By the way Amnesiac is great
Pyramid song:drool:

Kid B is the only album where I don't like more an 3 songs.

Well, that and Pablo Honey.

I even like half of Kid A now :yikes::wink:
