Those may has been Germans, but the Deutscher Fu?ball Bund (DFB) team has never meet Brasil, lets say that between 1948 and 1990 there were 2 german federations, not the same case, but similar to the UK having 4, the one that carries the story of Germany before the split and after the re-unification is the DFB.
So for the records, will be the first game between them.
Germany was not created in 1990, actually the old West Germany only absorbed the old East Germany.
