Heh... The 24th can't come soon enough for both of us, it seems.

I think I'm going to begin work on the final section in Anthropology tonight. I'll be ahead of the game by 2 assignments if all goes according to plan.

What disappoints me is that I now have only 10 days to do an essay I'm rather passionate about, and simply don't have the time or energy to devote myself to it as I'd like.

But then the other part of me just can't wait to get it out of the road too. The 24th is going to feel good.

lucky they were supposed to build a cafeteria and a gym here and have them ready last july.

they just finally gave us the option of expensive catered food for like three hours a day, which of course caters to those working 9-5 shifts...lunch is over before some of the people in our department even get here, much less are wanting to eat.

i got a macbook, it just arrived in the mail today

yeah, when i saw the new sale they're having where you can get a free ipod nano or touch when you buy a computer, i was like damn, that's not bad! sure beats a free $100 printer

It did! My mom texted me to tell me it had arrived, and when I came home I was exhasuted but spent a good couple of hours playing with it.

Yeah. I taught her and rue the day I did.

She's not as bad as she used to be, but I did go over on my texting plan this month (for the second month in a row ) so I had to tell her no texts until the new billing cycle begins.
