Yeah it did... my x-rays of my right knee after surgery for a tibial plateau fracture (basically shattered the top of my shin bone):

broke it April 3rd... in a bar at 3:30am... while playing pool.. um, don't ask..

kinda funny though, when asked by the bartender if I wanted them to call 911 for an ambulance, I was like "No, I work for them!" I had them call anywways (only so long you can put up with that much pain). The medic kept saying "You know what comes next..." Yeah yeah, but don't cut my jeans off dammit, help me take them off in the normal way, alright? Yeah yeah, stick an IV in my arm.. no no, no morphine, demoral's good though.. ahhhhh........ (memory lapses at this point, duh...)

My econ Prof. has had 13 surgeries and 7 on high right knee. The last one (Jan.) wasn't successful. It's still busted and he's hobbling around on cruches and a huge leg brace (and this guy's HUGE; he was going to be in the Olympics for discus).

Couple years ago, Daniel, then 13, started of his Easter "break" by falling off his skateboard and slamming his left forearm on the curb; resulted in a collateral compound fracture....it looked like
< > two perfect V's.. his upper forearm went north while his hand and wrist hung south....with all the things that I had seen in my life, I nearly passed out from looking at it...

Thankfully, he was in extremely good health and drank a lot of milk, doctor's reset it in 2 non-invasive procedures...he had 5 screws in place but when his arm healed the pins were removed...he's doing very well now...broken bones can be very nasty!

Doc's is not a country bar... if I'm in any bar that even plays one country song, I leave

I don't think the guy meant to break my leg though... I didn't press charges, but I after getting my hospital bill, I think I'm gonna change my mind }~

Hospital bill = $19,211
ER doc bill = $300
Radiologist's bill = $1,180
Anesthesiologist's bill = $1,042

Total = $21,733

that's what I've received so far. thank God my ambulance company didn't bill me... would've been about $700 or so.

Doc visits and physical therapy are going to be another joy. Ok, enough carping...

I meant docTOR visits... I'm not going back to Doc's at least until I'm working again...
