I love watching storms when they aren't right on top of my head.

Best storms i remember watching were on the Gold Coast in Australia - out to sea so you could watch them from the beach.

Hmmm, i think there was a lightning strike nearby. Think i'll run my laptop on battery for a while.

Noisy rain, i expect there's some hail in that.

we barely have good storms here... sadly..

We have about three to four days worth of semi-decent storms here a year. The last four days have been stormy as hell.

It really is winter now. And i definitely hear hail.....no lightning for a while though.

You know there's some crazy shit going on with the electricity when the touch lamp next to my bed is changing power levels without me touching it.

It works by using whatever electricity my body conducts. Touch the base once, it comes on. Twice a bit brighter, three times really bright and then again and it goes off. Great for someone who just flails wildly at the light when they have to get up while it's still dark.

And i can tell when the electricity is going nuts because it starts having a mind of his own.

It's rather fun - but it's not as impressive as last nights at this stage. If i had to rate them i'd give the 30 separate storms that passed over an 8.9 out of 13, tonight gets about an 8 out of 13. What are you up to?
