Garbage is beginning the North American leg of their tour this Friday in Toronto, and I was wondering if any other Interferencers are going to see them? LadyLemon and I are seeing them in Cleveland and Detroit this weekend, woohoo!!

(Our plan is to kidnap Dan, their touring bassplayer...*shhhh*, lol

)

I'm seeing them in early May at the Music Midtown Festival in Atlanta.

My boyfriend and I are staying at the Ritz-Carlton. So hopefully the band will be there too

I have to say, though, that I thought they delivered a fairly boring set in Tampa opening up for U2. Hopefully their headlining shows are more exciting. Shirley's hair still throws me.

The Toronto venue won't allow cameras, so I don't feel like trying to sneak mine in, or buying a disposable and having it confiscated.

Boo! Graduation is the 4th, so that weekend is totally out (its a 6 hour drive for us). Maybe I'll check garbage.com and see if/when they have Florida dates.

Woo Hoo! They are playing here on our birthday (Bono and mine, that is) and I'm gonna see them. Happy Birthday to me! Too bad it's not U2, but it will be great. Sold out show and we got tickets!!!!!!!!

The Toronto show absolutely rocked. Shirley was great, and very, very talkative.

The set was 90 minutes long, with one encore of 'Wild Horses' (Stones cover) and 'Only Happy when it rains.'

Started with "Push it." Also played Special, Stupid girl, Androgyny, Cherry Lips, Parade. I think they played #1 Crush, but I'm not sure. A number of others, but I'm not familiar with all their songs, so I wouldn't be able to tell the titles.

The opening band was rather awful, but mercifully, their setlist had no more than 7 or so songs, and they got off in a half an hour.
