French Open

ok, surely other people are watching it as well, so let's discuss.

poor gasquet, just watched him get knocked out again (badly in the 4th set).

discuss.

damn, i was hoping he'd beat Nalbandian why badly?

wish i could watch it.

most likely it's gonna be Federer vs Nadal in the final.

Nadal has won the last few against Federer, but the last one ( a couple weeks ago in the Rome final) went to a 5th set tie-breaker..after Federer had 2 match points before the tie-break and he should have won the tie-break, but he made a couple errors at key points in it and Nadal won. twas a thrilling game, that Federer should have won but didn't.

i'm hoping for a similar final at the French.

yeah that'd be fun to watch.

I said badly because it was really close playing in the 3rd set and he had several chances to be 2 sets up, but once he lost that set he just lost it. Lost 6-0 in the 4th.

I was hoping he'd beat Nalbandian too...

Nalbandian is unbeatable... Gasquet is not at his level, at least for now.

Go David all the way!!!!

Seriously speaking, I am tired of this kid Nadal and hope he loses soon.

No Gasquet isn't nearly as consistent I agree. And yes Nadal needs to lose.

Agreed. He cannot run as much as he does if he is not on drugs.

Good victory by Gaudio today. He is the type of player who, on a good day, could beat anyone (including Nadal)... but, unfortunately, his mind is all over the place.

Nalbandian does not have a very easy match against Tursunov today, but he should pull through.

Well done, Justine Henin-Hardenne! She played a fantastic game today, though I didn't expect Groenefeld to give her much difficulty. Her next match will be against Kim Clijsters, which is a real dilemma for me because she's another one of my favourite players. I won't know who to support!

Back to Federer/Ancic...

so it's gonna be Nalbandian vs Federer in 1 semi final.

if the other 2 games go the way they should then the top 4 seeds will all have reached the semi finals.

so a Henin-Hardenne/Kuznetsova (sp) final...Justine looked really strong today, I'm hoping she'll win it again.

I'm also really excited about a possible Federer-Nadal final for the men, although I wouldn't complain if Nadal was upset by Lubjicic.
