it was so interesting to watch some of the tributes to him tonight. in the interviews he did, he sounds EXACTLY like he did on TV -- caring and calm and patient. How many well-known figures are different in real life than in public eye? Mr. Rogers wasn't fake, he was REALLY like that.

my childhood was better because of him.

My heart broke when I heard the news at work this morning. He will be missed...he was such a wonderful person that made the world a little more special.
