Mr. Rogers provided a timeless gift for children and adults. It is amazing how his shows stimulated thinking without a barage of sounds and images.

God has called him home.

this is truly, truly sad. such a gentle, caring man. watching him change his shoes everyday, and put on his sweater is a very fond childhood memory. he will be missed.

RIP mr. rogers

there was quite a welcome in heaven his morning.

everyone knew i was watching it as a kid so they watched it too!

anyway, i loved that show as a kid. i remember my favourite character; daniel. i didn't even know he had cancer. i wonder if anyone (outside of his friends and family i mean, like the public eye) knew that he did.

rest in peace mister rogers.

I can't belive this. I loved that man so much. There is nothing like that available to kids anymore. He was such a good person and so gentle and caring. I leanred how to make peanut butter fudge by watching him. I also loved those puppets. It's the end of an era...

I was an avid watcher when I was little. But I know that he's gone now to the best neighborhood there is.

All the Pitsburgh TV stations have devoted the whole news hour to this wonderful man. It bought tears to my eyes. There are not enough words for all that he did for children.
