Bought the ferninand disc at the Coachella festival, because it came highly recommended by my nephew (who incidentally told me that my taste in music is lacking ).

Didn't listen to it much at first, but I have gotten to the point where I really, really like it.

I finally got their disc the other day, and I can't stop listening to it. I take it with me everywhere.

I haven't heard the entire album...but from what I've heard it's not my bag.

Am I the only one who sees the statement "sounds kinda like the Strokes" as not necessarily a good thing?

I dont think they sound like The Strokes.....at all.

no, neither do I. THe only comparison I could make is that tehy're both upbeat rock. Danceable rock.

AS for Franz, their live show was incredible...so much energy, so much fun. They're cheesy at times, yet hilarious..
