I'm surprised no one posted this here yet, but College Football Coaching Legend, Eddie Robinson has died at the age of 88. Robinson was struggling with Alzheimer's for the last several years of his life. Robinson made his mark coaching at the predominately black college, Grambling and was instrumental in getting many talented black players drafted to the AFL, NFL and the USFL. One of his most popular players was former Washington Redskin, Doug Williams who led the Skins to a Super Bowl victory and also became the first black to start a Super Bowl at QB for a team. Williams succeeded Robinson at Grambling, after Eddie was forced to step down from coaching in 1997, due to his health problems. Robinson's attitude for success was that he treated all of his players like they were going to marry his daughter.
