I have a pair of comfy fleece socks that Phoebe always steals if I leave them out. I saw her playing with them once, but usually I just come home and there will be one fluffy pink sock in the hallway, and one in the bathroom or something. They're pretty much her socks now.

Worf went to the vet today. I came home from work and she was vomiting up white, frothy stuff.

The vet gave her fluids because she was "severely dehydrated" and also gave her a B12 shot and an anti-nausea shot (cerenia).

They will call me back tomorrow with the blood work and fecal sample results.

Worf has drunk some water since coming home but shows no interest in eating . She's also lost about 3.5 pounds since the last time I took her to the vet last April.

Kelly, If she's dehydrated, try putting some water with the wet food and mash it. Best advice my vet ever gave us!

I read online today that microwaving the wet for a few seconds helps make it more appetizing. Seems to be working - she's eating a little bit at a time. Vet is supposed to call me tomorrow with the lab results.

She now has bloody stool, but she seems to be trying to do #2 but can't quite. She went back to the vet today to get more fluids and a shot of antibiotic. She is going to back to stay at the vet tomorrow to get more fluids throughout the day. She's back to not eating. She has a slight fever and the vet is hopeful the antibiotics will help.

Wow interesting. I thought for sure given Worf's age and the symptoms you described that she may be developing CRF, or Diabetes or something like that. That's great that the tests are normal. Hopefully its just a bug and the antibiotics will take care of it.

The vet thinks it is some form of colitis and is keeping Worf over the weekend for more fluid and monitoring. I saw her this afternoon after the fluid treatments and she looks better (more alert), but still doesn't have an appetite. The vet might try to force feed her a little tomorrow to see if she can get her to eat.
