OK at lovers here is a question for you:
Why in the world does my cat pee with his ass outside of the litter box after it's been cleaned and changed? I can't for the life of me figure out what he is up to.

Try getting a litterbox with high sides, or a covered litterbox.

It is! High sides, cover the works. He just sticks out his butt and pees, only after its been cleaned!!

Actually he is healthy , takes great care of himself even at his age, which is now 9. I think he is trying to tell me something, who in the world knows though......

My other cat does what yours do, jumps right in the clean box. She is more of an indoor cat though. The other guy goes in and out. I'm thinking about a cat door now....

I really wish I could have a cat door. (apartment) Mine want to go out/in at different times and it gets annoying going to and from the door only for one or all of them to look at me like, I'm not coming/going - in/out now, stand there untill I decide what I what I want to do.

It's pretty woodsy here so the boy just loves going out and playing. The girl is petrified of anything that moves! If we get a cat door though we'd have to get the one with the magnet collar so the critters don't meander in and he is not comfortable with collars....
