Football ! (i.e. the pigskin kind)

i've always loved sports, i love to go and jus shoot hoop ,i'll basically play any sports, i'm athletic (or atleast i try to be...damn, black ppl are always the ones good @ sports) ....but i didn't grow up just learning certain sports like most kids do via mom, dad, siblings so when it comes to knowing about sports i had less "advantage" (donno if that made any sense...) anyway. . .
its weird i like watching football & all & i would love to learn how the game is played, the rules, etc. better then i do (i mean, i'm not clueless- it just seems very technical and all ) ....i guess it comes down to i'm to lazy to learn about it, i'm afraid i'll take too much brain power .....but really i want to know more then i do
anyone know where i can learn more about it- on-line or anything? (i have "football for dummies" (and basketball)... but, its a long book! lol.) i wanna learn the basics (basically the game) and then go on up...
am i weird?
i guess you have to start somewhere. *shrug*
