yep we made him what he was. the sight of him scoring in the famous colours of claret and blue was a wonderful sight (as opposed to the vile gloryhunting scum of a team that plays in red that he went to later).

I'm kinda glad I went to bed shortly after the second half in last night's matches.

The Champions League is very, very short of excitement in terms of goals this year, at least what's being shown here. Of the three matches relayed on the Tuesday night there was one goal (Arsenal's) and the Chelsea and Liverpool fixtures yesterday weren't particulary inspiring.

Come on. Let's have a fucking class European tie.
