could very well be the dumbest cover-ups for fuck ever.

Friggin' is okay, mainly because Dr. Evil said it, but like, come on. If you're going to say it, just say it. Everyone knows you're trying to say it anyway, so why say those two.

I don't know, but those two words really bother me. The second one doesn't even sound like fuck!

Ah, I needed to get that out.

This is the worse fookin confession I've ever seen.

Seriously though, I think 'fookin' comes from how it's pronounced in certain accents, therefore isn't that bad.

You're right, fookin' isn't as bad as farken', but it's still kind of dumb.

how bout fricken?

fricken only if it's frickin', but I still like friggin' more. Personal preference really.

friggin', fuckin', or f-in', atleast for me.

No freakin' either :grumpy:

I tend to slur the "ck" of frickin', so it sounds like friggin' no matter what. :slant: I suppose you could say that's my euphemism of choice. :hmm:

Where does farken' come from?

That sounds like someone's attempt to massacre the English language.

The absolute worst though is all the Battlestar nerds at my school who say "frak". My first roommate did that all the time. Felt like stomping in his throat every time he said it.

Battlestar is the shit, but frak is annoying.

If they didn't say frak, they'd drop like 20 f-bombs every episode.

I like friggin' and I don't mean it as a substitute for fuck, I mean it as friggin'  If I mean fuck I say fuck.

I always thought fookin was used for emphesis/accent, not to replace fuck.

I don't like farkin or feck.

Zooey Deschanel said "feck" in Almost Famous and I cringed.

Why Zooey? Why?

Why'd you have to remind me. :(

But Fuck is definitely not a bad word. It's the best word, actually.

fark is like an aussie version of fek or fook , i like all of them ,
fookenbejesus is a faveorite of mine at the moment. irish accent
but if i want to say fuck i will just say it too.
and yes, yes it is the best and most versatile word.

Friggin' is an independent swear on its own, nothing to do with fuck.

It meant 'to quiver', possibly from old French 'friquer' which meant to rub and so got adapted for masturbation.
