I haven't read it yet but I am hopeful it is everything they say it is, being the definitive book on Kubrick.

Hopefully so. I haven't read any biographies or retrospectives of Kubrick in a long time. Mostly because the ones I read were so dull and lifeless.

He did know Kubrick personally and for over 20 years too and it seems the family does support the book too.
