There are many of you out there who have not seen the holiday classic "It's a Wonderful Life" - who still hasn't and when are you coming over for movie night?

i've only seen parts of It's a Wonderful Life on tv, until i lose interest or fall asleep on the sofa

my favorite holiday movie, is Miracle on 34th Street :cute:

ABEL you won't lose interest if you watch it from the beginning

Kat listen to your dad!!! :shame:

IWB, I will allow you to take a break this year

I never saw it until I was over 20 years old :uhoh: but let me explain. When I was growing up, (I'm 42) it wasn't on TV, it was considered 'old' and not 'classic' yet. There was no cable until the mid 80's so I never saw it until then! Now I see it every year. My kids love it and consider it not Christmas without it!

I've never seen it, only bits and pieces.

However...I've seen A Christmas Story approximately 8,642 times since it was realeased when I was three years old (I think it came out in 83). IMO it's one of the funniest films ever made.

It sounds like a wonderful idea for a family movie night

up until the hardcore porn scene at the end

it truly is a wondeful life

I too have never seen the whole movie :reject:

I know they're not "movies" but my favorite Christmas programs are Rudolph the Red Nose Reindeer ("I want to be . . . a Dentist!" :D )

and

"A Muppet Family Christmas", you know, the one where all the muppets go to Fozzie Bear's mother's house for the holidays . . . :shifty: is it sad that I can quote lines from that one? :help:

I haven't seen any of those old time holiday movies. I love christmas, but i think those movies would probably make me vomit :slant:

I am SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO glad I am not alone on this.

I have never seen it...and often feel like a reject when I tell people I have never seen it.

miracle on 34th street won't make you vomit! :hyper:

(at least the original one, the remake which i have not seen, probably will  )

what exactly is a grinch? I haven't read the book and I haven't seen the movie.
I just called my husband a grinch, even though I don't know what one is...but I have a sneaking suspiscion I shouldn't have done that.
and now I have a sneaking suspiscion, i just spelt suspiscion incorrectly...thrice.
I have the video of "It's A Wonderful Life" purely because it is Lister from Red Dwarf's favourite movie, so that made me curious.
The story of "The Happy Prince" and "The Little One" is my Christmas tradition.

I am now a member of the I have seen 'It's a Wonderful Life' club and am happy to report that I am glad I watched it. It's late, I'm tired but wait a great movie!!!
