What are your favourite (or, at least, really good) songs that were never released as singles?

The first one that immediately springs to mind is A Sort of Homecoming (U2). My favourite song off of UF, as well as one my my favourite U2 songs in general.

..I think One Tree Hill was single.

Full of Grace - Sarah McLachlan.
You're So Pretty-We're So Pretty - Charlatans (UK) --I think it was only released as an intenet single? Don't remember.

I need to think of more, later.

There are so, so many.

Take Control by Weezer is easily one of the best songs they ever have released, and it was never released as a single. That one stands out in my head right now.

I'll come back to you with more later.

most of my favourite songs are non-singles. it would probably be a shorter list if i were to list my favourite songs that are singles...and even then the list is pretty long

love is blindness by u2
last goodbye by jeff buckley

those are my 2 favorite songs off the top of my head...for some reason i'm seldom attached to the "classic" singles and so forth...

Merman - Tori Amos
Space Dog - Tori Amos

True Love Waits - Radiohead
Like A Friend - Pulp
The First Time - U2
Motorcycle Drive By - Third Eye Blind
and everything by A Silver Mt Zion (I believe they don't release singles of any sort)

foray

The Smiths - Cemetary Gates, A Rush and a Push and the Land is Ours, Frankly Mr. Shankly, Unhappy Birthday

The Cure - One Hundred Years, Like Cocatoos, Fight, Disintegration, Doing the Unstuck, Jupiter Crash

u2 - maybe its overload on their singles, but at this point i almost prefer all of their non-single tracks to their singles.

radiohead - true love waits, lift, airbag, let down

and then there are so many other bands that dont recieve airplay around here - i dont know if they even release singles or not. so who knows.

smashing pumpkins - mayonaise, crestfallen

U2 - running to stand still, babyface

radiohead - bones, lucky, morning bell, cuttooth

electric soft parade - this given line

white stripes - you're pretty good looking, for a girl

clinic - distortions

coldplay - warning signs

nirvana - drain you, milk it

pearl jam - in hiding
